Well its been a while since we updated and we are very proud to say we have now reached just over the £2000 mark with our fundraising and so we only have just under £500 to go….a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far…we are very grateful and this has given us a huge boost…..please help us if you can reach the finishing post of £2500.
After a cracking weekend trek across the Seven Sisters on the 17th…(yes again) but this time we did it TWICE….back and forth across those hills….very draining but worth it…..the weather was excellent and the temperature just right……
This week was back to Fairlight to Hastings Old Town….the weather had decided to treat us to damp and humid conditions which in the early morning did feel like a trek into the Amazon…..the mist laid low and mother nature seemed to delight in keeping us well watered just when our clothing started to dry out…..
Every time we have tried this route it has rained and the conditions have been challenging…this was indeed the case again but it was really what we needed as we are off to Snowdon,Wales next weekend with Discover Adventure..the company who are arranging our main challenge…..
Our son will also be tagging along again…..it will be great to get some real taste what we will experience in November if only on a smaller scale but we hope to take some good pictures and to test some of our equipment we have managed to get along the way….The weather prediction is looking good and slightly cooler than it has been recently….only the 6 hour car journey there and back to dampen our enthusiasm…
